Privacy policy

This policy explains what data the Sleepify: Binaural Brainwaves app ("Sleepify", "the app") collects, why, and what choices you have. Sleepify is made by Tlupin ("we", "us"). Contact: support@tlupin.com.

The short version

• There are no accounts. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
• The app asks for no location, microphone, camera, contacts or file permissions. Ad partners may infer your approximate location from your IP address.
• Your favorites, playlists, mixes and settings stay on your device.
• We use trusted third-party services for analytics, crash reports, ads and subscriptions. They receive limited device and usage data, described below.

Data stored only on your device

Favorites, playlists, saved mixes, custom beats, listening history shown in the app, and your settings are stored locally. Sounds you download are cached on the device. None of this is sent to us. If Android backup is on, this data may be included in your device backup to your Google account, which we cannot access. Uninstalling the app deletes the copy on your device.

Third-party services

• Google Firebase Analytics: which screens and features are used, app version, device model, OS version, country, an app instance ID and, where allowed, your device's advertising ID. We use it to understand which features matter and to improve the app. Google privacy policy.
• Firebase Crashlytics: crash reports with device state and a crash-report ID, used only to fix bugs.
• Firebase Remote Config: fetches app settings (for example how often ads show) using an app instance ID.
• Google AdMob: shows ads to free users. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID, IP address and ad interactions. Where required (for example in the EEA and UK) the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before requesting ads. You can change your choice at any time in Settings → Ad privacy choices. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android settings. How Google uses data in ads.
• Google Play Billing and RevenueCat: process and verify Premium subscriptions. RevenueCat receives a random app user ID, purchase details and the device's store information. We never see or store your payment card. RevenueCat privacy policy.
• Content delivery (Cloudflare): when you open the app it checks our server at cdn-sleepify.tlupin.com, hosted by Cloudflare, for content updates, and Premium sounds are downloaded from it the first time you play them. As with any web request, the server sees your IP address. We do not use it to identify you.

If you contact us

If you email us from the app (Contact us or Report a problem), the message includes your email address and, to help us fix problems, a random support ID, the app version, your device model and Android version. We use this only to reply to you and fix issues.

Premium users

Premium removes ads, so the app makes no ad requests while your subscription is active. Analytics and crash reporting continue as described above.

Children

Sleepify is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us and we will help remove it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or the CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to its use. Because we do not hold accounts, most data is tied to an app instance ID rather than to you by name. To make a request, email support@tlupin.com. Uninstalling the app stops all collection.

Retention and security

Analytics data is kept by Google for the retention period set in Firebase. Crash reports are kept for 90 days. Data is sent over encrypted connections.
